As a clin d'oeil to Magritte's "Ceci n'est pas une pipe", these statement earrings were named "Ceci n'est pas un oeil" as they are meant to subtly suggest an eye and its lashes. They may also just be perceived as geometric lace fringe earrings... an ode to modern art.

The eye is also a symbol that transcends cultures from Mexico's original habitants to ancient Egypts symbols of god.

These extra light weight earrings are composed of high quality hand dyed lace and a mix of pure brass metal components.

Color; Beige (sand).
